Tips for working with Meguiar’s Endurance Tire Gel

  • Always work on a cool surface and in the shade.

  • Make sure each tire you are working with is fully clean so that the tire gel will perform its best with maximum shine, protection and durability.

  • To clean tires thoroughly, spray with a product like Meguiar’s M39 Mirror Glaze Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner or an all purpose cleaner like Meguiar’s D101 All Purpose Cleaner. Agitate with a tire brush and rinse off with water. Make sure tire is fully dry. This step will remove all dirt, grime and pre-existing tire dressing.

  • Apply a medium amount of tire gel on a foam applicator like Meguiar’s Foam Applicator Pads, a soft cloth or tire brush. Spread thin and evenly across tire.

  • Wipe off any excess, especially in grooved areas to prevent spin-off.

  • If you bump up against the rim wipe the dressing off the rim with an old microfiber or cotton terry cloth towel.

  • Allow tire shine to fully dry and cure. Let sit for at least 10-20 minutes, if not longer.

  • If a higher shine is desired, apply a second thin and even coat after waiting for the tire gel to cure for at least 10 minutes.

  • If less shine is desired, wipe the tire immediately after the application with a soft cloth.

  • If you happen to get spin-off on plastic and painted panels wipe off immediately to avoid staining.
